The Stables
The Stables is a beautifully restored Grade II listed stable conversion that accommodates up to eight guests.
One of the oldest buildings on the farm, believed to date back to the 1200s, it’s also one of the most picturesque, with its distinctive red stonework.

This charming cottage features two ground-floor bedrooms, each with a super king-size bed (which can be split into twin beds) and a set of bunk beds, making it ideal for families or groups of up to four single guests per room. The cottage also includes a large kitchen and dining area, as well as a spacious lounge with access to a patio offering stunning views over the Margam Hills. Underfloor heating throughout is powered by our eco-friendly Biomass Boiler.

Originally used to house the farm's Shire horses in individual stalls, the stable block was so badly affected by woodworm during renovation that much of the original timber had to be replaced. Distinctive stonework was thought to be ballast stone brought from Somerset when ships came to collect wool. A commemorative plaque from the Glamorgan Regiment honors the two horses the farm donated to support the war effort in World War I.
